This is the small form, dwarf version of the popular water plant, Lobelia Cardinalis or often known as the Dwarf Lobelia Cardinalis or Lobelia Cardinalis Mini.
This variety stays small in size which is perfect for carpets, foreground fish tanks, and aquariums. You often see this plant in ADA or Dutch-style nature aquascape.
Lobelia Cardinalis can grow above water or underwater. When grow emerged, the plant has the ability to turn its color to purple but when it grows submerged in the aquarium, the leaf will turn back to green color.
